Cody's dad is one of ten children, so to say they have a lot of family around is quite the understatment. He has a group of cousins who like to get together...but it doesn't happen NEARLY as often as it should. We need to be better about getting together more often, especially considering we all only live within an hour of each other! Toward the end of June, Dave and Allison hosted a cookout at their incredible house. The house is nice enough, but their property is a child's paradise. Perfect place to raise a family. The kids had a blast chasing chickens around, playing soccer, jumping on the trampoline, playing volleyball, and getting into mischief. And the adults had a great time catching up. Thanks, Mickelsens, for hosting! We need to do it again soon!
