"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life;
to put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau

4D Ultrasound

Tonight for FHE we headed out to Fetal Fotos to do a 4D ultrasound session with baby Gad. The weather was atrocious and we barely made our appointment in time, but make it we did. I know this is my fifth baby, but it thrills me just as much each time to see that little squished face. This time we almost waited too long...being over 34 weeks it makes it hard to get good shots. He was very tight in there and he kept his hands by his face (along with the cord, which makes me nervous). The sonographer made him mad enough so he moved a little into the right place for a few good pictures. I am absolutely and utterly smitten with this little guy.

After the session we went to dinner at Mimi's Cafe, which was incredible. I'd never eaten there before and it was really great food! The kids even behaved pretty well and we made it home safely, so I'd say it was a very successful FHE outing. I sure love this family I am tied to forever!
You can see he has a little grin on his face in this one.
He kept opening his eyes which was a real trip! She was able to catch a good one with him fully alert.
Love that little pinky and ring finger.
Aren't these some of the cutest feetsies you have ever seen?
The sonographer said with confidence that he has a TON of hair. Yup, he is one of ours for sure!
And just in case you were sceptical about the gender....here is the blackmail money shot. It's for sure a boy!

I am glad you liked your ultrasound. My uncle actually owns it. He made me go in when I pregnant with Logan. It was a lot of fun. Great pics!
