"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life;
to put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau

Taking Down the Cards

One of my very favorite parts about the holidays is getting Christmas cards from friends and family.  I don't normally check the mail because it's Cody's routine before he comes in the house from work.  But during December, I watch for the mailman and check the mailbox as soon as he leaves.  It makes me GIDDY to get cards.  And I love Christmas letters.  I know not everyone loves those, but I do.  I love getting updated about everyone's families and blessings and hardships throughout the year.  I love sticking them on the back of our doors and seeing the collection of people that we've grown to cherish over the years.  But......I hate when it's time to take them all down. Until next year!

I see my card! :)

I too, am about to take down the cards, and it makes me sad. We keep ours on the mantle, as part of the decorations.

I'm glad you put the 'Oh Fudge' card up there. Ha ha!
