We celebrated Hailey's 3rd birthday on Saturday. This was her first time to get a friend party and she had very specific requests. She wanted all of her friends from nursery and she wanted princesses and a castle cake. I hated that we couldn't invite more people, but we figured that the 10 little girls in her class (all under the age of three!!) would be plenty of guests and overwhelming enough.
Seven of the ten girls invited were able to come, plus a few cousins and Kaden and Tanner from next door (Hailey's true loves). We made princess crowns, ate pizza and cake, smacked a pink pinata, and opened some presents. Then all the princesses were sent home with nail polish, a princess phone, stickers, and some bling. I was grateful that some of the moms were able to stay and help, so thanks ladies!

What a fun party, I'm sure Tanner & Kaden made beautiful pricesses. The cake looks great a professional couldn't have done any better.
what a party. I heard it was fun! That is a lot of little three years and a lot of pink! Love it!
Veronica,
Don't sell yourself short. That cake is adorable. Hey, I still remember the lime cake my mom made me for my 7th birthday. It was lopsided but I loved lime ice cream and the cake was the only one I ever really wanted. (Normally I don't like cake)
It is gorgeous!!!!!! Happy Birthday Hailey Jane!!!

PS My baby will be 19 on the 29th of this month. I can't believe it, it seems like yesterday she was Haileys age.
That is a sweet cake! You did an awesome job.
That cake is beautiful! I'd be so freaking proud of myself if I made something that looked like that!!
I think your cake looks awesome!! There is no way I could've put that together!! And I'm sure Storey will insist on something that extravagant in three years for her party. Oh dear. Guess who I'll be calling? :)
Okay, Now I am completely sick to my stomach... What an adorable party!! Poor little Izee. I guess she won't miss what she didnt' know about (smile)... By the way, we will be copying your party when Iz turns three, so, make sure you keep all the details fresh in your mind (smile)
How do you do those collage pictures??
I wish my girls were 3 again. I miss all the pink and ruffles and bows. Everything moves to lipgloss and "tween" stuff way too fast. Enjoy it.
The cake looks fabulous! I have seen that cake in magazines and it would scare me to death to make it. You did a great job!
YOU MADE THAT CAKE?! I thought it was a toy at first. That's the nicest you'll get out of me, too.
It's been forever since I've checked blogs. So it was nice to finally catch up on yours. Thanks again for the invite to Hailey's party. We had a good time. And the cake did't look THAT bad, just a little crooked from the side :) And yes, it tasted delicious and I think that's all we care about anyway (except for the kids of course who were fascinated by the beauty of the castle cake)!!
