"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life;
to put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau

Daddy's Girl

No one can comfort this girl like her daddy can. When Hailey wakes up crying at night there is usually one name that she calls- Daddy. When someone makes her sad there is one person she wants to run to- Daddy. When life isn't treating her well, there are only two arms that she wants holding her- and those belong to Daddy. There is an unbreakable bond between these two and I know it will last into the eternities.

Hi Veronica - it has been a bit! We were in ID, but Lee lost his job (long, sad story, there is a post about it tho, in May) and have relocated to Green Bay. We like it so far and are bracing for the infamous winters here! The pix of your kids are super fun to look at, and I'm with you on the nursing thing - way to go!!

What a sweet moment. I love those. There's nothing like a snuggly daddy to make everything all better. Tina is the same way with her dad! I love it - makes Dave more endearing to me also!
