"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life;
to put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived." ~Henry David Thoreau

Peek-A-Boo Girl

Lauren has learned a new trick: peek-a-boo! Last night when I came home from Enrichment, Cody was playing with her and he taught her the new trick. She covers her face, then pulls her hands away...well you know how the game is played. Cody is pretty excited because that is HIS thing with her. It's good for them to have Daddy/daughter bonding experiences.

Also, yesterday Lauren was entertaining herself with toys on the living room floor and she was playing with Ethan's cars. She was pushing them around on the ground and making car sounds! I was astounded that she picked that up so well. It goes to show that babies really are sponges. These new milestones are so cute!

I totally agree...I can't believe how fast kids pick up things. You think, they're way too small to understand, but NO! They do understand. I love it! And I know it only gets better!

Lauren is so adorable...love her smile. I loved playing Peek-a-boo with Lyd's at that age!
